Gram and Grandpa Visit!!

Gram and Grandpa came and visited us for the weekend. It's the first time we've seen them since they came home from Brazil. They brought us lots of goodies!
I got a t-shirt and Thatch got a Brazil soccer uniform. We both got cool Halloween toys, too!
And we each got these cool folding tables.Of course, we had to play outside some!

Then on Saturday, we all went to the zoo. As always, it was lots of fun!!!

The guys all holding hands...isn't that sweet???

Thatch and I like watching the animals play.

Look at that silly monkey!!!
Family portrait. I wasn't really interested in taking this picture. Doesn't look like Daddy was, either!

The zebras are so pretty!!!

Remember a picture like this from last year? I think we may have changed a little since then!
My new favorite stuffed animal is my elephant, Bella. Daddy was showing me a real, live elephant.

After lunch, we rode the choo choo train to the other end of the zoo.
That's where they have cool kid stuff. I liked checking out the different things we make from each farm animal!

It was getting close to time to go, so Grandpa and I just played around for a little bit.

Now it's time to head home! We were pooped out!

Thank you, Gram and Grandpa, for coming to see us! I miss you already!
I LOVE YOU!

Mommy's Birthday

Mommy and Daddy went away for the weekend to celebrate Mommy's birthday (and I think to have some peace and quiet). I got to stay with Grandmother the whole time! I love her froggy and lots of her other toys, but Mommy and Daddy didn't leave the camera, so you just get the beginning.

Grandmother and I like to go on walks in her neighborhood.

And I get to eat in a real high chair.

I loved my time with Grandmother, but I was really glad when Mommy and Daddy got home. On Mommy's real birthday, they went to see "Tuna Does Vegas" at Bass Hall. Before they left, I helped Mommy open her birthday gifts. Thanks Cheney and Chandler for the cool stuff for me!!!

Just Another Manic Monday

Today, Mommy and I ran some errands after school. We were playing in the driveway (and the street) when Daddy got home. I like to ride my car down the driveway. It goes all by itself!!

I also like to RUN down the street pushing my car as fast as I can.
I'm not a very good driver. Grandmother, I lost a hub cap, too!
Then, while I was running wildly around the street, Daddy tried to steal my car! Can you believe it????
And then...

We had spaghetti!!! (my favorite)

The many faces of spaghetti

Now it's time to show off my new house shoes. Some of you may know that I'm a bit obsessive about my shoes. Mommy and Daddy decided to get me some just to wear around the house since I was going to wear some whether they like it or not. They are Princess Shoes!
Some of you commented about the song "Butterfly kisses" on the last blog. One of my favorite thing to do with my Daddy is to dance with him. I love it! It reminds him of Steven Curtis Chapman's song, "Cinderella". He talks about getting every dance in he can with his daughter before she grows up.
My favorite is when he "dips" me.
And last but not least, a ride around the house in a box. Can you tell I love this, too???
Me and Mommy and Daddy just play, play, play.
Good night!

Weekend Fun

Nana sent me this super cool outfit for Halloween. The shirt even lights up! I decided to model it for the camera before school on Friday morning. Thank you Nana!

We had lots of chores to do this weekend. My favorite was washing the cars!

Then Daddy and I carved our first Jack-o-lantern. Ok, so we didn't carve it, but it's pretty cool. We used a pattern to poke holes first.
Then I put the right color peg into the hole and Daddy hammered it in.
All done! It keeps on blinking!!!
I LOVE WEEKENDS!!!

At the park with Thatch

A couple of weeks ago, we went and played with Thatcher while his Mommy and Daddy went out for their anniversary. Of course, we went to the park.

I WIN!!!
Aren't we cute???
Thatch liked the tunnel
I like the swing...as always
Look what Thatch can do!!! What a monkey!
My turn to try. Looks like Thatch is ready to give me a hand if I need it.
So, we thought we would try to both hang at the same time for a picture. Sorry, Thatch! You had to hang on a while!
