Visit from Nolan and Thatch

My friend, Nolan, stayed with us last night because his Mommy and Daddy went out of town. We invited over Thatch and his family and had a good ol' time! Daddy grilled dogs and burgers and we hung out in the back yard.
I like to carry my lawn mower around rather than push it!

Thatch is already driving and texting...boy are his parents in for it!
Nolan isn't quite walking yet, but he's pretty good climbing up the slide!
UhOh! Crash
Thanks for the push, Thatch!
Daddy took us all on a ride in the wagon

Kissin' Cousins...don't let us fool you. We mostly fought over toys. This is staged!
Another push? What did I do to deserve this?
Queen Ashtyn. I wanted to sit in my chair in the wagon, and so I did.
Now it's bath time. Nolan went to bed, so Thatcher and I took it upon ourselves (and of course at Double A's command) to splash until the whole bathroom was soaked!
Thanks, Double A, for our cool mohawks!

The weather has been so nice lately. We spend almost every evening playing outside, so it was great to have some friends to play with. Come back soon!

We miss you Gram and Grandpa!!!

HI GRAM and GRANDPA!!!!
We miss you. Even though I don't get to see you all the time, I miss talking to you. Mommy and Daddy have told me about how you are in Brazil teaching people about Jesus. I can't wait until I get to go on one of those trips. I guess you can do it for now, though.
This is me saying hi (with a mouth full, of course)
This is me just being silly for you. I wanted to make you smile!
And this is me clapping for what you're doing and because you'll be home before tooooo long!

Well, I just wanted to send you a little message to let you know I love you and miss you. Mommy and Daddy said to tell you that they love and miss you, too, and that they are praying for you and the people you are with. Bye bye for now!

My day with Aunt Andi

Aunt Andi made an unexpected but welcome visit this week. Her house doesn't have electricity right now because of Hurricane Ike. We don't know how long she's going to be here, but we're going to make the most of it!!
On Monday, I got to stay and play with her instead of going to school. We had a great day! We started by brushing our teeth.

Then we went to the store for a little bit.
Back in the car
And then to the park! It's one of my FAVORITE places!!

Of course, we had to stop for a snack
And finishe the day by making silly faces for the camera!
Thank you, Aunt Andi, for staying with us and for playing with me all day.
I love you!!

Messy Girls

I love anything I can draw with, chalk, pens, pencils, crayons, or paint! The last time I got to finger paint, I decided to paint Mommy! We always have a lot of fun being silly. Thought you might like to see some of the pictures. I might have gotten a little on myself, too.

Labor Day Weekend

We headed into the storm for Labor Day weekend. Well, not exactly, but that's what some said about us! We met the rest of Daddy's family at Aunt Andi's house in Houston. She has a pool now, so we did a little swimming.

I had to wear double swim diapers because of my recent issues. That's why my bottoms look so huge!
UhOh! I got up here, but HELP!!!!!
Me and Nana
I love playing with Maverick. He tolerates me, mostly because he knows I'll feed him. I even tried to share my juice with him from my sippy cup. He doesn't know how to drink out of a sippy cup!
See Food!
The next few pictures you may notice a common theme. I went around to take my picture with everyone saying "Cheese" and scrunching my face.

First Poppie

Then Nana
Aunt Cher Cher
and Aunt Andi
Aunt Andi also has a piano at her house! I like to play it and even learned I could play it with my feet! Nana even opened it up so I could see how it works.

Thank you for letting us all come stay with you Aunt Andi! I had a great time and can't wait to see you all again!
