This is Mommy's favorite!

Whoa!!! I'm falling!

I like my tummy time better, now that I can get on my tummy all by myself.

I'm a Big Girl Now!

I'm sitting up all by myself for a long time. I like to play in my gym, but I'd rather play sitting up than lying down.

I'm so strong that I pulled my gym over on top of me! Even though I am doing pretty good at sitting up, sometimes I fall down. I have a pretty good grip, though, and don't let go of my toys when I fall. I was still holding on when Mommy tried to put the gym back up!

Believe it or not, this is me standing up! I love my exersaucer, but I got a little grumpy being inside of it. Mommy was holding me up on the outside while I played with it when she realized I wasn't depending on her much. She slowly took her hands a way and TA DA!!! I am holding on to the exersaucer for support and don't be fooled...I did fall down a couple of times.

Peek a Boo

Mommy and Daddy put me down on a blanket on the floor. I ended up wrapping myself up in it and playing peek-a-boo. I did everything myself!

This is so much fun!

Big Red Balloon

Daddy read about this game in one of his "Daddy books" so we had to try it. He bought me a shiny, red balloon and tied it around my ankle. It's supposed to help me make the connection between me kicking my feet and the balloon moving. Who knows????

I was sitting up in this one and am trying to grab it with my hand. I can't seem to reach it.

I'm starting to get a little tired of this now! I have managed to get both feet involved, though.

Gram & Grandpa Come See Me

Gram and Grandpa made the quick trip up to visit their two favorite grandkids. We had a good time hanging out together. I'm so glad they came to see us!

Before I had to go to bed, we had fun dancing to some disco tunes.

Visit from Daddy's Aunts

Nana and all her sisters (Daddy's aunts) came to visit me Friday night. We had a lot of fun. I initiated Julie and Kaye into my club by spitting up on them. (SORRY!!) Lynette thinks she's my favorite since I didn't get her this time. She lives the closest, so her time is coming! I am so glad they came. I know they had a horrible time getting to my house, but it was great to meet Aunt Julie and Aunt Kaye and to see Aunt Lynette and of course Nana again.

Basketball!!

This is me and my Girl Power basetball. I can't wait for basketball season to get here!

Splish Splash

I love taking baths! I have my own little bathtub and toys that I like to kick and lick. (Yes, I lick everything.) Sometimes I like to kick my feet.

Reeves

One big happy family!!!

We went to Reeves for Daddy's 12 year class reunion. Yeah, they're a little off. Anyway, I got to stop and see Aunt Andi on the way there and on the way back. I had big, wet kisses for her!


I got to sit in Nana's lap and I made her do a lot of walking with me when Mommy and Daddy went out. I was just helping her get her exercise!

I gave Aunt Cheri big kisses, too! I really like to pull her hair.

I got to play with Poppie a little bit, too.

And of course, a bath in the sink. It was a fun trip!

First day of Daycare

Thursday, August 2...this is my first day of daycare. Mommy is a little sad that she won't get to spend all day with me anymore, but I'm kind of excited. In fact, I can't hardly contain myself!!!

Look, I have my bottle all ready to go and everything!

Let's go already!!! (Mommy hopes I'm still this happy when she picks me up!)

More Playing!

I got to go to Thatcher's house and play with him. We had a lot of fun. He even let me play in his exersaucer. It's a little different from mine.

Of course anytime we are sitting together, we grab, poke, pull, and try to eat each other. It looks like this time we just both fell down!

This is me sitting up like a big girl! I still need some help, but I'm getting there.

We went to lunch and I sat in a high chair for the very first time! (With the assistance of a floppy seat) It was really Thatcher's seat, but I tried it out.
