Drew's Arrival

Well, after all the waiting, it was finally time for my baby brother to come out of Mommy's tummy. This is Mommy before she went to the hospital.
After several hours, Baby Drew was here!!!!
He weighed 7 pounds and 6 ounces and was 20 inches long when he was born.

Daddy came out and got me to go meet him as soon as he was born.
After I met him, it was time for everyone else to come in and meet him. Gram and Grandpa, Nana and Poppie, Grandmother, and Aunt Angela, Uncle Mike, and Thatch had all been waiting on him ALMOST as long as I had.

After even more waiting, Mommy and Daddy brought Baby Drew home. I was waiting on them when they got here.

Aunt Paula made him this cool monkey wreath for his door.
I helped Mommy carry Drew in
I couldn't wait to help change the first diaper at home! Call me crazy!
Then it was time for more love for Drew

Thatcher thinks Drew is his baby. I keep telling him he's wrong, but he doesn't care!

Ready for bed

He's laying on the quilt Gram had her friend make for him

Gram and Grandpa were last to leave. We had a fun time welcoming Drew into this world and into our lives. Thank you to all of you who came to help us!
I am so excited to have Drew as a baby brother. He doesn't even cry all that much! Come see him when you can!

Well, Grandma can hardly wait to hold Drew. Ashtyn, will you let me hold and love Drew. I can hold both of you. I am so proud you have a baby brother. He sure looks like a keeper to me.

Isn't God GREAT! What a miracle birth is. Ashtyn, you are a great BIG sister and you have a very special "baby brudder". I know you will help take care of him. Thank you for hosting the sleepover Friday night. I had such fun with you and Thatcher!
